Official: Campos renews contract with Paris Saint-Germain parent company Qatar Sports Investment Group until 2030

May 22nd Paris Saint-Germain officially announced that sports consultant Luis Campos and Qatar Sports Investment Group (QSI) have been extended to 2030.

The influence of the Portuguese executive will not be limited to Paris Saint-Germain, but will also involve QSI's multi-club strategy. Previously, Campos had attracted interest from Premier League clubs and reportedly he was negotiating with a top European club. PSG said in a statement that Campos "will continue to be responsible for the sports strategy of the entire QSI group, including the Paris Saint-Germain men's football team and its consulting responsibilities for the Braga Sports Club."

QSI acquired a minority stake in Braga, Portugal in October 2022 (initially 21.67% and increased to 30% in 2023), and Campos' new responsibilities will further strengthen the sporting synergy between the two clubs and may further expand in the coming years. Since joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, Campos will continue to play a role in recruiting players, while also "playing a key role in identifying investment opportunities for multi-club football, international sports assets and elite talent."

Paris Saint-Germain Chairman Nasser: "We are very pleased to renew our contract with Campos until 2030. He has performed outstandingly in the past three years. Today, we have a stable, clear vision and shared ambitions in all our assets, and I would like to thank him for that. We look forward to future success and achieving the long-term goals of QSI."
