Klopp: A player asked me why I treat people differently. He is from Argentina and grew up in a house with no windows.
On October 21, Klopp accepted an interview with TheDiaryOfACEO and talked about managing the team by himself. Klopp said: I have to say, the way I treat them is about half and half: 50% of the time, completely equal, and the other half, I adjust it according to the situation, but it is always in front of the player's other teammates. So players will come to me: Why are you doing this to me? You would never do that to him. (I said) Because he's from Argentina and grew up in a house with no windows, and you're from Munich and everything went smoothly. You want me to treat you the way I treat him? Seriously? When you bring people from all over the world together, you can't expect them to all behave in the same way. This is simply impossible. Growing up in Germany is obviously different from growing up in Senegal, that's just the reality.
