29-year-old former Liverpool winger Ibi moved to Bulgaria; he made his Premier League debut 12 years ago

Hupu News November 16th Jordon Ibe, who was once regarded as one of the top prospects in English football, after fading out of the mainstream stage and playing for Sittingbourne FC (Sittingbourne) in the Isthmian League, the seventh tier of England, now chooses to go abroad again at the age of 29. He officially joined the Bulgarian First Division team Lokomotiv Sofia and signed a contract until 2027.

Ibe’s career started off brilliantly. In May 2013, he made his Premier League debut with Liverpool at the age of 17. Earlier, he made his League One debut at the age of 15 while on loan to Wycombe Wanderers.

During his time at Liverpool, he played a total of 58 games for the Red Army, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists. In 2016, Ibe joined Bournemouth for a transfer fee of 18 million euros, but failed to continue his early momentum. He accumulated 5 goals and 9 assists in four years, and his value has continued to decline.

After that, he moved to many low-level clubs in England, and briefly went to Turkey to play for Adanaspor. Now he is taking a new chapter of his career to Bulgaria, joining Lokomotiv Sofia, which has won four domestic league titles. However, this veteran team has been far away from the championship ranks in recent years and is currently ranked 11th in the league. Ibi's joining is regarded as a key part of the team's efforts to strengthen its offensive line and improve its experience structure.
