World Cup qualifying African play-offs: Nigeria vs. Gabon, Cameroon vs. Democratic Republic of the Congo

October 29th The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and host Morocco have confirmed the African play-off schedule for the World Cup preliminaries.

The African regional play-offs of the World Cup preliminaries will be held in Rabat, Morocco from November 13 to 16, 2025. The participating teams include Cameroon, Democratic Congo, Gabon and Nigeria.

The semi-finals will be held on Thursday, November 13th, local time, and the finals will be held on Sunday, November 16th, local time. The specific schedule is as follows:

The first semi-final match: Nigeria vs. Gabon at 00:00 on November 14

The second semi-final match: Cameroon vs. Democratic Congo at 03:00 on November 14

The winner of the final will advance to the intercontinental play-offs of the World Preliminaries to compete for the last African spot to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
