DO: Leipzig believes that Newcastle s quotation of 75 million + 5 million is not enough
Hupu August 3, TheAthleticUK ace reporter David Ornstein's latest report, Newcastle United's 80 million euro offer for Benjamin Sheshko is lower than RB Leipzig's valuation of the striker. Newcastle United have made an offer to RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sheshko, including an initial transfer fee of €75 million (£65.5 million; $86.9 million) and a potential surcharge of €5 million, according to TheAthletic on Saturday. Previously, Leipzig asked for a quote of about 75 million euros, plus surcharges and transfer terms. Newcastle's interest in the 22-year-old is at a time when Alexander Isaac's future prospects are uncertain, and Isaac hopes to leave St. James' Park Stadium this summer. Newcastle United have rejected the official offer of £110 million by Liverpool, but the Premier League champion remains keen on interest in the 25-year-old, according to TheAthletic on Friday. Manchester United are also interested in Sheshko, the Slovenian striker has not yet set his final goal. Chelsea have also coveted Sheshko for a long time, but they signed forwards Liam Delapp and Joao Pedro earlier this summer.
