Bergomi: Milan duo should each have their own stadium
October 15th. Inter Milan’s legendary captain Bergomi was a guest on the podcast ScontroDiretto. He talked about the controversial topic of the Milan duo’s new stadium. "Today's stadiums are almost the same. All stadiums have circular areas where you can hang out. You can do anything in there, such as going to the bathroom, eating a burger, etc. San Siro/Meazza does not have this function." Bergomi said with a hint of bitterness. "I live in a neighborhood near Meazza, and I have walked there since I was a child. At that time, there were some flower beds nearby, and I would stay there and run around like crazy. Indeed, I will regret it if Meazza is demolished, but I have to look forward. Milan and Inter Milan should each have their own stadium." Finally, Bergomi expressed his dream that the Nerazzurri would have a stadium that belongs entirely to them and will no longer be shared with Milan.
