Arteta: I agree with Guardiola and Alonso s coaching philosophy, but I also have my own way

How did you reach a contract with Under Armour?

"I get along closely with the players every day. They often ask me which is better, being a player or being a coach, and I always answer that nothing can compare to being a player. However, as a coach, when you feel that the whole team is fully supporting you, all the staff work together, the fans are united, and the club has clear and clear ideas and achieved excellent results, that feeling is unparalleled, and nothing can compare to it."

What is your ideal player like?

"The players who can make the right decisions on the court without you having to give too much advice; they are those who can reach the level you expect every day steadily."

Why are there so many Spanish players playing in the Premier League, and few British players going to La Liga?

"This is a very interesting question... I think it has a lot to do with adaptability. In addition, British players have had the best football environment and the top leagues in England for many years, so there is no need for them to look for opportunities in other leagues, whether from the competitive or economic perspective."

Do you agree with the coaching style of Guardiola and Xavi Alonso?

"I agree in many ways. First of all, we play in the same position, and I know both of them very well: I played with Xavi, I know Guardiola since I was 15, and I have worked with him for four years. I agree with their way of playing, their game philosophy, their vision of the game, and their behavior... in all aspects."

Who do you think you are more similar to?

"I don't like to make comparisons like this. Their philosophy has many similarities, but each coach performs very differently. And I have my own way and my own philosophy."
