August 19th, Metz's official obituary said that former Metz striker Omoto Yossi died at the age of 39.

Mes official wrote: "The club learned with deep sorrow that Omoto Yossi died at the age of 39. The club extended its sincerest condolences to his family and relatives."

Omoto Yossi has played in many clubs. He played in 28 games in the 2009-2010 season and scored two goals. From 2004 to 2016, he left a strong mark for the national team and became the second scorer in the history of the Benin national team, scoring 21 goals in 47 games.
