Porto official: 23-year-old midfielder Vega joins, signs until 2030& severance fee of 65 million euros

June 6: Porto officially announced the signing of Spanish 23-year-old midfielder Vega from Jeddah Nationals. The two sides signed the contract until 2030, and the amount of players' termination will be 65 million euros. It is reported that Porto received 90% ownership of Vega for a fixed transfer fee of 15 million euros plus a floating fee of up to 4 million euros.

Vega started his career at Celta Youth Training Camp. He made his first appearance for the club B team at the age of 17 and was promoted to the first team three months later. In La Liga, he scored 11 goals and sent 4 assists in a single season, and had a very outstanding performance. In addition, he was an important member of Spain's U21, helping the team to enter the U21 European Youth Championship final.

In August 2023, Vega joined Jeddah Nationals. He played in a total of 64 games for the team, scoring 12 goals and sending 10 assists. In the AFC Champions League, he helped Jeddah Nationals defeat Kawasaki forward to win the championship. In the new season, he will wear the Porto No. 17 jersey.
