Levante coach: The players have done their best, we are worthy of getting a point

Hupu, August 24th, in the second round of La Liga, Barcelona reversed 3-2 to defeat Levante. After the game, Levante coach Julian Carello said in an interview that his team had the chance to defeat Barcelona when he led 2-0 in the first half, but unfortunately he failed to defend his advantage.

"They defeated you and made your face full of failure. The bitter taste of failure is hard to swallow, and I still feel resentful, we deserve at least a point. We were very close to winning, or a draw, but we didn't get either, and we've done everything we can," he said in a press conference.

Calero emphasized the players' efforts: "The team has given everything to win, I can't be dissatisfied with my players, I'm proud. They are trying hard and we will continue to work hard. We could have gotten more points in the first two games, but that's the reality. Settings were both priced against Alaves and Barcelona. Calero continued: "We have to keep moving forward. I saw that when the score is 2-2, we could have seized opportunities in some counterattacks. This is the intention of the team. This game must make the team believe that we are competitive in La Liga, we are not here to go through the motions or run with us. We will turn this page quickly, and I will ask the players to do this. Losing to Barcelona is within the normal range, and we know how to move forward and work in daily life. Failure is never good, no matter who the opponent is. We must draw positive interpretations from it and let the team start to believe that they can compete and achieve results."
