Let football become a force for good! Official: Manchester United wears special jerseys in this round and promotes charity work
On May 10, Manchester United official news, the team will wear special edition jerseys in this weekend's match against West Ham (men's team) and Arsenal (women's team). Article 6(d) of the English Football Association's "Game and Advertising Regulations" may not be the most familiar rule for fans, but this rule has the ability to improve the lives of millions of people around the world. This clause allows the club to select up to three charities per season, temporarily replacing the main sponsor logo with the charity logo. In Premier League history, there has never been a charity logo on the chest of Manchester United's uniform, but this weekend, this history will be rewritten. In this weekend's game against West Ham and Arsenal, Manchester United's men's and women's teams will debut in a special edition jersey. As chest advertising partner Snapdragon takes the initiative to transfer advertising space, the jersey will display the charity (RED) logo to promote the agency's life-saving efforts to support the Global Fund. Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is committed to ending the world's three deadliest pandemics: AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. (RED) supports life-saving projects through the Global Fund grant, trains healthcare workers in impoverished areas and provides testing, treatment and care services. Manchester United legend Gary Neville expressed support for this move: "By transferring the chest advertising space of the men's and women's teams, Snapdragon proves to the world that football can drive tangible changes. We can gather millions of fans to fight global health inequality and give full play to the influence of football to create a brighter future." Manchester United CEO Berrada agreed: "We are honored to have passed the process with Qualcomm. Innovative cooperation, leverages the chest position of Manchester United jerseys to convey to the world the important mission of fighting health inequality (RED). Qualcomm has a shared vision with us to make football a force for good. This action is the best embodiment of this concept at a time when vulnerable groups around the world face severe challenges. " To commemorate this cooperation, Manchester United, Snapdragon and (RED) jointly launched a limited edition joint product, with all net income to be donated to the Global Fund. Fans can also bid for players' game jerseys, and the proceeds are also used to support the cause.
