FIFA Chairman Infantino mourns the Jota brothers: Football will miss you deeply, may the deceased rest in peace

July 3rd News FIFA President Infantino posted on Instagram today to mourn Jota and his younger brother Andrei who died in a car accident.

Infantino wrote: "I am deeply saddened to hear that Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva have unfortunate death. Diogo, who is only 28 years old, has a brilliant career and should have been more brilliant in the future. His brother Andre has also made his mark in the Penafiere Club."

"All those who know them and the global football community will miss them deeply. On behalf of FIFA and the entire football family, I would like to express my condolences to their relatives and friends, Liverpool Football Club, Penafiere Club and all members of the Portuguese Football Association, and wish the deceased rest in peace."
