Cialhanoglu wants to return to Türkiye for high salary, pressure Inter Milan to leave the team

Türkiye international Carhanoglu has become a key player in Inter Milan in the past few seasons. Under the guidance of former head coach Inzaghi, he transformed into an all-around midfielder with excellent offense and defense, making 182 appearances for the team, contributing 38 goals and 32 assists, and winning six honors including Serie A, Copa Italian and Super Cup.

Although Inzaghi Jr. left office, Inter Milan still regards Cialhanoglu as an important member. His contract has two years left, with an annual salary of 6.5 million euros after tax, second only to captain Lautaro, and tied for Barrera as the second highest-paid player.

Although Inter Milan claimed that he would not let Calhanoglu go, he was eager to return to Türkiye. Galatasaray offered an attractive contract of 10 million yuan in annual salary, which made him start to put pressure on Inter Milan.

Right calf injury caused Calhanolu to leave the team early and return to Türkiye, and actively promoted joining Galatasaray. However, Galatasaray's offer is less than 20 million euros, and Inter Milan demands nearly 40 million euros in transfer fees.

Calhanoglu said that he joined Inter Milan as a free agent and contributed a lot to the team. He hopes the club can understand his desire to return to Turkey.
