British media: Led by Klopp s son, Liverpool Tennis Center develops a plate tennis complex
May 8th According to British media DaveOCKOP, led by Mark Klopp, the son of Liverpool legendary coach Klopp, will develop a brand new plate tennis complex at the Liverpool Tennis Center in Wevertria. Although it is unclear whether Klopp himself will directly inject capital, the project has been officially promoted through Mark's company PadelFC and has signed a 25-year lease with Liverpool City Council, planning to transform the abandoned tennis court into a cutting-edge plate tennis facility. According to NorthWestPlace, the project spent 500,000 pounds (about 665,000 US dollars) and planned to build 6 indoor and 3 outdoor panel tennis courts, as well as facilities such as locker rooms and dining trucks. Plate tennis (a sport that combines tennis and squash) has become popular in Europe in recent years, and Klopp's passion for the sport has long been well known to the public. Klopp once said: Plate tennis is the best sport I have ever played except football.
