May 30th, a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in a serious car crash in Liverpool's championship parade. TA reported that the suspect involved was charged with seven counts of felony crimes.

53-year-old Paul Doyle, from Liverpool's West Derby area, was charged with seven counts of serious crimes by police for driving into a crowd during a Liverpool championship parade.

These charges include two counts of illegal and malicious injuries with intention to cause serious injury, two counts of illegal and malicious injuries with intention to cause serious injury, and dangerous driving, which he will appear in Liverpool District Court on Friday.

Merseyside police said a total of 79 people were injured in the incident on Water Street in the city center, including a nine-year-old child, and seven people are still in hospital for treatment.
