Siakam hits a new high in 39 points: the strongest game in his playoff career, the Eastern Conference Finals approaches the finals 2-0
On May 24, the NBA playoffs continued, and the G2 Pacers defeated the Knicks again away from home, with a total score of 2-0 aiming at the finals; Siakam made 15 of 23 shots, 3 of 5 three-pointers, scored 39 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, scoring a career high in the playoffs, and made great contributions in a crazy game. In the G2 match of the Eastern Conference Finals, Siakam opened fire in the first quarter, scoring continuously mid-range shots, counterattacks against the basket, a blank cut and dunk, and a three-pointer from the outside, leading the team to lead the Knicks 19-9 to 10 points. However, the Pacers' offense was powered off and the Knicks took the lead 17-5. After the first quarter, the Pacers fell behind by 2 points 24-26. Sika scored 16 points with 6 of 9 shots in a single quarter. The Pacers fell 7 points behind in the second quarter and then overtook the score 8-0. Then the Knicks regained the initiative and fell behind by 3 points after the half-time. Siakam made 3 of 5 shots in this quarter and scored 7 points. He played an unreasonable 2+1 against Towns. Sika played too tough. In the first half, Siakam made 9 of 14 shots and scored 23 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist, setting a new high in his personal playoff career half-time score (previously the highest in the playoff half-time was 22 points). In the second half, the Pacers took the lead 15-7 in the third quarter, and the Knicks counterattacked and tied the score. The two teams started a long tug-of-war. The two teams tied at 81 in three quarters. In this quarter, Siakam scored 9 points for 4 of 4 shots, made another three-pointer from the outside, and made two tough scores and made fouls (unfortunately the free throws were missed), roaring passionately to celebrate; Siakam scored 32 points in the third quarter, and for the first time this year's playoffs this year at least 30 points. The Pacers led 13-4 to 9 points in the last quarter, during which Siakam hit a three-pointer; then the Knicks narrowed the gap 9-3, and the two teams were in a stalemate again; Siakam returned to the court in 5 minutes and 24 seconds, and Turner and Halliburton made three-pointers in a row at the critical moment. Siakam made a fast break counterattack layup to help the Pacers lead to 10 points. Then the Knicks instantly chased to 1 point, and Smith made both free throws. Within 14.7 seconds, Smith made both free throws, Brunson missed a three-pointer to extend his life, Turner killed the game, and the Pacers narrowly won the G2. Siakam played the best game of his playoff career, leading the Pacers to lead the Knicks 2-0 in the East Finals, with the hope of advancing to the finals.
