Today, Oklahoma Mayor David Holt announced Thursday, May 22, 2025 as "Shay Gilgers-Alexander Day"! Holt said on social media: "On behalf of the citizens of Oklahoma City, I congratulate Alexander on being named the NBA's Most Valuable Player!"
