August 4th, August Recently, Lakers reporter Dave McMenamin, who works for ESPN, talked about the situation of Pelinka, the team's president of basketball operations.

"As long as Jenny (Bass) is still in the position, we know that this means Robert Pelinka will be in the position," Dave McMenamin said on the Hoops Talk with Allen Sliwa, "because Jenny has been promoting him (Pellinka).
