Pierce supports Mazula: It fits the Celtics spirit and is suitable for the team to stay for a long time

Celtic legend Pierce said on the podcast that he believes Mazula is the best candidate to lead the team.

The legendary star praised: "I like Mazula, who fits the spiritual qualities of the Celtics. I appreciate his youth, and he can play with the players. He is younger than our generation because he is a Bostonian and grew up watching us play. I appreciate his mentality and his style of holding press conferences."

Mazula is known for being straightforward, concise and often weird to reporters, but his team fully agrees with his idea that "winning is the most important thing."

Pearce added: "He is the kind of serious coach, but the players like him, he is very suitable for this team and will stay in this position for a long time."

Mazura became a Celtic assistant in 2019, becoming Stevens' assistant, and continued to assist Uduka after Stevens was promoted to the team's executive.
