McMillan: LeBron is the first to arrive in training and meetings, this is to lead by example

Recently, Lakers assistant coach Nate McMillan praised James' professional qualities in the "Sports Shop" podcast.

"When LeBron returned to the team last year, he went through the Olympics and vacationed with his family. He came to the team in mid-September. From that day on, he was the first to arrive no matter where he was. He was the first to enter the training hall, the first to board the plane, and the first to attend the meeting. I thought 'Wow'. He was setting an example," McMillan said.

Talking about the difference between James and Kobe, he said: "I think they are different. Many people compare LeBron with Kobe and Michael (Jordan). As an athlete, maybe it can, but I would rather classify Kobe and Michael as one, and LeBron and Magic (Johnson) as one. They are different types of players and play differently. In my opinion, Kobe and Michael are the ‘killers’, and Magic and LeBron can beat you, just in different ways."
