Kidd: We need to get the ball in Flagg s hands better at the end of the game

After the game, Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd was interviewed by reporters and talked about Flagg's performance.

Kidd: He performed well, he was very aggressive and helped us equalize the score. We put the ball in his hands. We need to do a better job of getting the ball in his hands at the end of games. He struggled a little bit in that period and had a couple offensive opportunities, but once we found the opportunity, he took advantage of it and scored. He tried his best. He got some good shots. Defensively I thought he performed well as well.

Mavericks player Cooper Flagg played 48 minutes, making 8 of 13 shots, 0 of 3 three-pointers, and 0 of 1 free throws. He scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal.
