Doncic talks about offseasons in previous years: I was only 18 when I first came to the NBA. I don’t know what to expect in the first four or five years.
July 28th, Lakers star Luca Doncic recently accepted an exclusive interview with Men 'sHealthmagazine and talked about his offseason training in the early stages of his NBA career. Doncic said early in his NBA career, he received advice mainly from Mavericks trainers and nutritionists. After returning to Europe during the offseason, limited guidance left him a little helpless. And during the season, the cruel NBA away run gave him almost no time to adjust his diet. "Especially in the NBA, you're almost always traveling," Doncic said. "I'm not at home. For me, you know, it's a big deal to go home after the season. I can meet my friends, my family, I can meet everyone. So it's certainly not easy." "I was only 18 when I first came to the NBA," Doncic added. "I honestly don't know what to expect in the first four or five years. Then I thought, 'I have to do something'."
