Whitmore s merger into CJ-Poole s three-party transaction was officially announced, and the Rockets got 2 second round picks + signing rights

July 7th Rockets officially announced that the Whitmore deal has been completed. This is a three-party transaction, as follows:

Rockets sent Whitmore and exchanged two second-round picks from the Wizards (2026 Bulls, 2029 Kings);

Rockets also obtained the signing rights of Mojave King (2023 pick No. 47) from the Pelicans.

Combining the official statements of the Rockets, Wizards and Pelicans, this tripartite deal combines McCollum, Poole and Whitmore and other players. The details are as follows:

Pelicans get:

Poole, Sadiq Bay, and No. 40 pick Pivie (from the Wizards);

Wizards get:

McCollum, Olynick, a future second round pick (from the Pelicans);

Rockets get:

Mojave King (2023 No. 47) signing (from the Pelicans);

Wizards get:

Whitmore (from the Rockets);

Rockets get:

2 future second round picks (from the Wizards - 2026 Bulls, 2029 Kings).
