Stein: Free agent Bandon is still seeking NBA opportunities and is also attracting attention from overseas teams
record Marc Stein reported in his column that free agent guard Banton has received interest from overseas teams, but he is still seeking opportunities in the NBA after spending a season and a half in Portland. According to Stein, Bandon has recently conducted trial training for several NBA teams, including the Warriors and the Pacers, but the Pacers finally decided to give up signing him. Bandon was traded from the Celtics to the Trail Blazers at the 2024 NBA trade deadline. Since then, he has played 97 games for the Trail Blazers, averaging 20.6 minutes per game, scoring 10.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists, with shooting percentage, three-point shooting percentage and free throw shooting percentage of 39.9%, 31.9% and 75.1% respectively. He has become a full free agent since his contract expires on June 30.
