Smith Jr.: Amen Thompson is the most athletic player on this planet

On August 2, Rockets star Jabbarry Smith Jr. talked about his teammate Amen Thompson on a podcast show.

When asked if Amen is the most athletic player in the league, Smith Jr. said: "If you take into account the overall athletic ability, such as speed, strength, and bounce, I think no one in the NBA can be as fast as he is and jump as high as him."

"I often see something he accomplished in training, which is incredible. Just jump casually without charging up his energy, and his head reaches the basket. This is something you can't improve through training, and it's a ability that you can't really impart. I swear I've never seen such a thing before, and when I think of this, I'm very angry, as if I'm asking myself, 'Why can't I do it?' Amen is the most athletic player on this planet."
