Shams: Nuggets and Braun reach agreement on 5-year, $125 million early contract extension
Hupu reported on October 21 that ESPN reporter Shams Charania reported that the agent confirmed that the Nuggets and Braun reached an early contract extension of US$125 million for five years. Braun was selected by the Nuggets with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2022 draft. The 2025-26 season is the last year of Braun's rookie contract, with a salary of US$4.92 million. Braun helped the Nuggets win the 2023 NBA championship. In the 24-25 regular season, Braun played 79 games, averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 58.0% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point range.
