Grizzlies 1 for 2 deal reached: Send Khufu to Pacers to sign up for Rockets former player Randale in one year s minimum salary
On July 6, the NBA reached several more deals today. The Grizzlies operated continuously, completed 1-for-2 trades and sent Hufu away, and then signed Rockets former player Langdale to strengthen the inside. According to ESPN reporter Shams, the Grizzlies sent Jay Khufu to the Pacers and received a second round pick and a second round swap right, a second round pick from the Portland Trail Blazers in 2029 and a second round pick swap right in 2031. After Myers Turner left the team, the Pacers got Khufu, who was 2.16 meters through trade. Last season, Khufu played 64 games for the Grizzlies, averaging 11.7 minutes per game, scoring 6.9 points, 2 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks, with a three-point shooting percentage of up to 41%. Kufu is 27 years old. He has played for the Lakers, Wizards, Nuggets and Grizzlies so far in his career. He has played in a total of 95 games, averaging 5.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in 9.6 minutes. He has been traded to the Pacers. Grizzlies completed the transaction and sent Khufu away, and then signed Rockets' former player Langdale in the free market. It is reported that the Grizzlies signed a one-year basic salary contract with Langdale, which was just cut by the Rockets. As Jackson Jr. and Eddy both suffered injuries and were treated for surgery in the offseason, Langdale will fill the inside of the Grizzlies in the new season; last season, Langdale played 42 games for the Rockets, averaging 11.9 minutes per game and scored 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists. It is worth mentioning that the Rockets traded "White Devil" Whitmore to the Wizards for two second round picks.
