Gay: The Thunder are indeed stronger than last season, and their leader SGA continues to evolve.
November 4th: Former NBA player Rudy Gay was a guest on NBATV and talked about Alexander's previous statement that the Thunder were stronger than last season. "They have already been through the battle," Gay said, "and I think SGA (Alexander) did it last year, and he is now more and more comfortable handling these types of critical moments. Watching the game the other day, he completely dominated the game in the final quarter. Those last year Highlights seem to come more easily to him this year. When your leader continues to evolve, it is difficult for the entire team to not advance but retreat. So far this season, Alexander has averaged 33.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
