Cole: Cole adjusts rotation and expects G3 Kumingga and TJD to get more opportunities to play
May 9th, in the NBA playoff division semi-finals G2, the Warriors lost to the Timberwolves 93-117, and tied 1-1 with a big score. Warriors team reporter Anthony Slater wrote after the game: "The Warriors and the Timberwolves fight 1-1 in the series, and will move to San Francisco next time. With Stephen Curry absent, Kerr adjusted the rotation lineup and is expected to have more opportunities to play in G3 Kumingga and TJD. The Warriors need to win at least one of the next two games to create opportunities for Curry to come back." Today's game, Kumingga made 8 of 11 shots, 1 of 3 three-pointers, 1 of 4 free throws, and scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist; TJD played for 19 minutes on the bench, made all 6 shots, 3 of 5 free throws, and scored 15 points, 6 rebounds (2 frontcourt rebounds), 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
