Brownie: Exercising good physical fitness and becoming a defensive player is my primary goal in the offseason

On July 4, Lakers player Brownie - is participating in the training of the summer league team. He talked about his offseason goals in an interview with the media.

This summer, Brownie focuses on physical fitness and diet. He has lost 215 pounds and wants to further improve his physical condition. He hopes to play for 10 consecutive minutes without any physical decline. This is not only a physical requirement, but also a psychological challenge.

"I think that kind of self-confidence is slowly built up over time, and it is accumulated by continuously extending one's ability to bear," said Brownie. "It means to hold on and persist for longer on the court, and work harder every day than the previous day. I think this is particularly important to me."

Although Brownie played in the G League for most of last season, he has shown good scoring ability and scored a career high of 17 points in a single game against the Bucks, he still emphasized that he is positioned as a defensive player.

"I don't want to lose the defensive fighting spirit that will keep me on the court," said Browne. "There are many people in this league who can score 15 or 20 points in every game. I may not be that role now, but to get a chance to play, I have to be a defensive player, which is my primary goal this year - to train that physical fitness."
