American Records: There is a precedent for Butler. Teams are paying attention to the renewal of Herro and the Heat.

August 6th, today, a reporter from Brett Siegel talked about Herro's contract renewal.

Brett Siegel said: "Hiro is eligible to sign a three-year, nearly $150 million contract extension with the Miami Heat in October and before the 2025-26 season begins. All teams are paying attention to this situation because Pat Riley has always been cautious about renewal (for details, please refer to Jimmy Butler's situation). The decision to renew the contract with Hero will reveal the Heat's judgment on his position in the East."

Hiro's current contract expires in 2027, and his salary in the next two seasons will be $31 million and $33 million respectively. Starting from October 2 this year, Herro is eligible to sign a three-year, $149.7 million early contract renewal with the Heat. If the two sides do not reach an early renewal agreement before October 21, Hero is eligible to sign a four-year, $206.9 million early renewal contract with the Heat in the next offseason (summer 2026). If Hero is selected into the Best Team in the 2025-26 season, he will be eligible to receive a super maximum salary ($380 million in five years).
